Toro Expands Air Release Valve Product Line
EL CAJON, Calif. (May 12, 2010) - Toro's Micro-Irrigation Business has added two new categories of air release valves - the durable Aluminum Air Vent series and the versatile 1" Plastic Air Vent. These additions complete Toro's air release valve offering, which are essential components that help ensure the safety, longevity, efficiency, and performance of any irrigation system.
Aluminum air vents are available in 2", 3" and 4" models, and feature a cast aluminum body that combines lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Other features include a simple design to virtually eliminate performance troubles and a synthetic rubber seal to ensure a tight seal even at low pressures. These air vents are extremely durable and allow for maximum venting capacity to prevent premature closing.
The competitively priced 1" plastic air vent features instant air and vacuum relief and easy maintenance. This air vent was designed for dependable performance and straightforward operation. What's more, the brightly colored cap allows for easy visibility in the field.
These new products are in addition to the existing continuous acting and non-continuous acting air release valves in 1" and 2" models. Also available is the ½" vacuum breaker that is specifically designed to prevent soil ingestion into emitters from back siphoning.
